How to uninstall/delete a printer driver

How do I uninstall/delete a printer driver?

Note: To set Print Server Properties, you must have Administrator privileges.

Follow these steps:

Information:

• If you want to install an updated Printer Driver or re-install a driver, it is important that you uninstall the existing driver first.
• You should always restart your PC (computer) after uninstalling a driver.

1. First, open the Printers list:

   Windows XP:

   Note: 
   As of April 9th, 2014 support for Windows XP has been discontinued.

   Click [Start] on your Windows Desktop and click [Printers and Faxes] .

   

   Windows Vista:

   Click [Start] on your Windows Desktop, then [Control Panel], and then click [Printer] under [Hardware and Sound].

   

   

   Windows 7:

   On the taskbar, click [Start], and then click [Devices and Printers].
